He has been married twice, his current spouse is Natalie Dyszkiewicz. He has four children,, ages 22, 19, 3 and 1 years old. He lives in southern France, maybe the Annecy region. He is considered a sex symbol in France because he believes that women there have the feeling that he looks like a responsible man (well most of the men in France are not trustworthy). He is known for his trademark four-day growth of stubble, oblong face and mournful, magnetic eyes. He has done work as a truck driver, accountant and photo shop clerk. History behind the Painting: Waldemar Schultz is a South African actor, director and voice artist best known for his role as Jan-Hendrik Terreblanche in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan, since 2000. He was married in 1996 to actress Ira Blanchenberg. They have 2 children – a son Kieran born in 1999 and a daughter, Dhania, born in 2002. Waldemar grew up in Milnerton near Cape Town, where he showed a great love for acting and the theatre from a very early age, taking part in as many school theatre productions as possible. This love eventually ripened into a career choice and led him to study drama at the University of Stellenbosch, where he achieved a Master’s degree in Drama, and taught acting from 1992 to 1994.

History behind the Painting:Man of German and Irish descent. Several of his grandparents lived past 100. He served in World War 1 and 2 and then worked as a railroad brakeman. During the Depression he traveled much of the country riding the rails with hobos. At 102 he was walking 16km a day. Now he walks 5km a day and can still read the bottom three lines on an eye chart. He gave up drinking in his 60’s, but smoked into his 80’s. He continues to work a few hours a week at a tanning salon/espresso café. He said, “I shall chase good-looking women around. I just can’t catch up with them – my legs don’t work fast enough.”
